Spring time is officially here and with it comes thoughts of enjoying God’s wonderful, green world of trees, rivers, and flowers. One of the many things planned at Providential for this Spring is a Kayaking Trip on the San Marcos River.
Twenty-three single and two double kayaks have been reserved for Saturday, May 1st. Kayaks will rent for $25-Single, $35-Double. A group of adults and youth will make an early departure for the San Marcos River Retreat in time to complete a 7-mile trip before 5pm. Good food, prepared by our own Chuck Wagon Team, will be prepared for the kayakers when they return to camp.

Youth Speakers’ Tournament and Bible Drillers’ Competition
Sunday afternoon, March 28th, five of our youth won the right to move up to the Regional Level of competition:

Exciting rewards can be earned by these students if they earn the right to move up to the “State” Level in Dallas on April 24th:

Kayaking Trip
Nursery Workers
Recent growth, of new, young families with children at Providential has prompted our church leadership to find a way to provide help in the Nursery for both Sunday School and Worship Time on Sunday Morning.
Although several people responded to the ad for a paid position, the leadership decided the best way to meet our needs is with a “rotating” Volunteer Staff that would work no more than one Sunday a month.

Youth “Slave” Auction
Several teenagers in our Youth Group need to earn money for camp this year. Can you help? This is a perfect opportunity for you to get those small projects around the house done that you have been putting off. Watch for details in the Sunday Morning Bulletin.
