   Those who are watching Providential Baptist Church develop into a healthy, new, growing church, see God at work, opening doors and supplying needs above and beyond what anyone could imagine. When people began to pray, it became obvious that He wants a church like our church in the Pearland Area.
    Providential is a Southern Baptist Church that is unapologetically conservative. The Lord’s mission for this church is to glorify Him, and to fulfill the great commission. Preaching the Word of God is central to our worship because the Bible says in 1 Corinthians 1:21

“... God was well-pleased through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe.” NASB

A well-rounded music program includes a blend of praise choruses as well as many favorite, old hymns like Amazing Grace, How Great Thou Art, In The Garden, The Old Rugged Cross, Blessed Assurance, etc.

Our members are friendly and cordial people who love the Lord and want to share His message and His love with those in our community and around the world.
