Why Your Reviews Matter

From time to time, people in our area search “church near me” and decide where to visit based on what they find. Google uses recent reviews to help decide which churches to show. 

We are grateful for the 5-star ratings the Lord has allowed us to have. The issue is that those reviews range from 3 to 7 years old. Older reviews, even good ones, do not tell a searching family that this congregation is still gathering, preaching the Word, and welcoming people today.

A short, recent word from someone who actually worships here can be a simple kindness to the next person looking for a church home. If the Lord has used this church in your life—the preaching of the Gospel, the hymns, the fellowship, the care of one another—consider writing a few honest sentences. You do not need to be eloquent or verbose. Just say what is true. That kind of testimony may be the encouragement someone needs to walk through the doors for the first time.
