. Our Affiliation
We are affiliated with the local South Texas Baptist Association, the Southern Baptists
of Texas State Convention and the National Southern Baptist Convention (SBC), and we
contribute financially to the Cooperative Program
. Our Doctrine
We are a conservative Bible believing church, and we ascribe to the Baptist Faith
and Message (This not a creed; it is a confession of faith)
. Church Polity
We are an autonomous church. We have a Deacon Body, and most of our decision
making is done through a democratic process. Our parliamentary procedure is based
on Robert's Rules of Order.
. Church History
Our first Worship Service took place on May 24th of 2009. The Clayton Funeral Home
was gracious to us and allowed us to use their facility for free for the first few months.
After this, we met for eighteen months at the Massey-Ranch Elementary School. In 2011,
we were given an opportunity to purchase our current property and facilities. We had our
first service at this location on July 31st, 2011. The word "Providential" is appropriate,
because our church began without any support from another church or a mission
organization; but nevertheless, God has sustained us and blessed us in numerous ways.
Our hope and prayer has been that God will establish a conservative Bible believing church
in Pearland, Alvin, Manvel, Friendswood, Houston and the surrounding area. We also pray
that we will remain faithful to our Lord until His glorious return.
We are transparent in many ways. We have a Church Treasurer and others who assist
him. Our membership and financial records appear on a weekly basis in our church bulletins,
and a monthly report is made available at every congregational meeting. Our church budget
is approved annually by a vote from the church body. Our Church Constitution and Bylaws
are available to church members, and those considering membership, upon request.

March With a Mission
Throughout the entire month of March, we will not have Sunday Evening services. This is so that we can do outreach in our
community from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. as the weather permits.
All of our church members can be involved at one of four levels.
a. Prayer - Even if you are not physically able to participate,
we want you to pray for us as we are engaged in outreach.
b. Brochure Distribution - Even if you are not comfortable
engaging in conversation with others in our community,
you can help us advertise our church.
c. Unabtrusive Visits - We are hoping that some will be willing
to converse with others at their door and invite them to visit
our. Many simply don't know where our church is located;
and so, it will help to tell them how to find us.
d. Evangelistic Visit - For those who are willing to do so, you
can join me as we share our faith and invite others to receive
Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior
