Have you ever paused to ask what unique part God has given you to play in the body of Christ?
In this message from 1 Corinthians 12:1-7, we consider the vital importance of spiritual gifts—grace gifts distributed by the Holy Spirit. These are not natural talents we develop on our own, but divine enablements given so that the church might serve, build up one another, and display the power and love of Christ in a hurting world.
We see that every gift matters, that they are meant for humble service rather than self-promotion, and that using them brings a deep joy that nothing else can match. The Holy Spirit equips each believer uniquely so that, together, we become a living symphony for the glory of God.
The greatest gift of all remains our Lord Jesus Christ Himself.
Take a few moments this week to reflect: What has the Spirit placed in your hands, and how might you put it to work for the common good?
